After spending time working in a marketing industry that capitalizes on the science and psychology of public manipulation, the former corporate marketers and founders of Bootstrap parted ways with big business.

Bootstrap Commercial Arts, founder of the movement Fight With Your Mind, was created to better align a set of skills from the marketing industry with the concept that marketing can be and should be about honesty and communication, and that people, not unaccountable entities, should be running our economy.

Businesses should have products or services of value that are presented to demographics that possess an actual need, desire, or demand for what a business supplies. Marketers should facilitate that honest communication between the business and the public.

Like any powerful tool, marketing can be misused, and people can be hurt and taken advantage of. Unfortunately, marketing has become synonymous with brainwashing at times, and the term information warfare has become a threat that everyone should understand in order to protect themselves.
